Tutoring at grossmont college

For the last few weeks i have been going to the math tutoring center to get help with calculas homework. At times i feel like they do know what there talking about when they try to out smart me yet a couple of days ago i went into the tutoring center and a man named luke thought his job is to outsmart me by writing the problem on the board and make it complicated. So i let him write the problem on the board and solve it yet he was conviced his answer was correct but little did he know he was wrong and instead of wasting 10mins solving a problem it was only a 2 step problem to solve. I say why do they try to make things complicated to show that they know something when if you dont know just say "i dont know" why waste my time.
