Completing the Course

I have completely finsihed all the homework posts and i have completed all the blogs that i am supposed to have and also some extra ones. I always knew about blogging but never tried creating a blog until this class and i am actually enjoying blogging. This was a great class to have now i just have to go in and take the final.

Week 6 - Email Marketing

I just finished completing the email marketing assignment. I started this but kept getting errors from the emails but after a few tries i finally got the emails send to everyone. This assignment was simple but because i was using a new email address, it took me a while to find who i will email the class information to.

Week 6 - Site Meter

Today i go all my finals out of the way and have decided to get prepared for my csis 299 final. I decided to do the last 2 assigments right now. I have started the site meter assigment and found it really simple. Now i will know how many people look at my page.

College parking ticket

Today as i am leaving grossmont college, i looked at my windshield and notice a green envelope that says Parking ticket on it. I received a parking ticket at grossmont college when i have a ticket on the corner of the windshiel. Im guessing since i have it laying there in the corner of the windshield that it had fallen onto the passenger seat. The officer that gave me the ticket surely did not look close and gave me a ticket. I will might this ticket until i have it taken off without paying the $25 citation.

Tutoring at grossmont college

For the last few weeks i have been going to the math tutoring center to get help with calculas homework. At times i feel like they do know what there talking about when they try to out smart me yet a couple of days ago i went into the tutoring center and a man named luke thought his job is to outsmart me by writing the problem on the board and make it complicated. So i let him write the problem on the board and solve it yet he was conviced his answer was correct but little did he know he was wrong and instead of wasting 10mins solving a problem it was only a 2 step problem to solve. I say why do they try to make things complicated to show that they know something when if you dont know just say "i dont know" why waste my time.

Downloading mp3 from the internet has been an issue to many recording artist. Online sites such as itunes and napster require pay per download per song. I think that sites like these are stupid because they are charging for music that has been tampered with, for examply quality of the song. we dont have to pay to listen to the radio because it sounds terribal however satelite radio has a better quality which is why many people opt to pay for there services.

Many people in the world have made there way to youtube by posting videos of things that interested them, from videos of themselves or videos of people, etc. Ive decided to do the same myself by creating a video and posting it on youtube. I made a spiderman video to one of my friends since they love spiderman that i am spiderman. I guess i feel into the youtube frenzy

Library Fine

Today i was registering for spring 2008 and noticed there was a red flag on my account. The red flag indicates i cannot register for my classes because of a library fine. I went to the library and asked what book do i owe. Turns out in October 2007 i checked out a book but 45 minutes later i returned the book, but the library said i never returned the book. We had a little dispute and they couldn't find the book. To make the story short i owed the library $33.37 for a $5 book. They are charging me for lamination on the book and handling and restocking fee for a $5 book. RIDICULOUS

Verizon has opened its wireless networks

i believe that this topic needs to be spoken about from a consumers point of view. This basically mean we can use ONLY CDMA phones, which are verizon, sprint and cricket. If i have a phone that says sprint on it, wecan take it to a verizon store and unlock it which resets the settings on the phone so that it doesnt have a carrier and is put onto verizons network. This is bad for verizon because different carriers can purchase verizon phones, have the phone reset then put it on there carrier. The only good thing is that we can have different carrier cdma phone onto verizons network.

I have been getting phone calls none stop by customers telling me how they want upgrades for the new voyager. Ive actually sold 3 voyagers this week and have decided to check this phone out for myself. So far ive had this phone for about 6 hours now and ive received my emails, have gone on youtube and been sending text messages none stop and no problems. I have to say that i texted over 200 messages a day and have been using my lg EnV which was perfect but have decided to upgrade. The voyager looks perfect and great reception

Last week of school

As the days of the fall 2007 semester comes to an end i notice many people who have not studied at all are trying to cram a semesters worth of class into one week. For example, in my calculas i have studied every single day for at least an hour and ive got an A yet the guys next to me have not passed one test and assume that if they cram everything in one week they will get an A on the final and pass the class with a C. Well to them i say good luck but i have a lot of doubt.
